About Me

I have always had a connection to nature. As a kid I would bask like a snake on a sunny rock and just listen, call to the loons as they flew overhead and climb a tree to sit and watch the world below like the winged ones. Then my dad gave me his 35mm Pentax and with it I could bring back from my travels images of the marvels I had experienced from small wonders of a fungus on a downed tree to the breath-taking vistas of great Rocky Mountains. Each image with a story of how it came to be-where I was, how I found “it”, what happened along the journey. And somewhere else along the way I also discovered that the images I captured were more than just what they seemed- peeling bark that had captured my attention turned into the head of a bird emerging from the tree, rocks in the water with moss growing turned into dolphin’s blowing bubbles, a rock emerging from the sands is the head of a great turtle… and so I invite you to see what I see.. It is what I do in so many ways on this earthwalk- see things differently and in doing so see the magic and wonder and endless possibilities… isn’t this a fun game?
