Portal to the skies from the earth
Visiting Grand Teton National Park stopping at Moose Junct, WY. we were drawn to the river and snowshoed along its banks. We sat at a bend in the river just pausing, giving thanks to the receiving and releasing of the waters flow with sage in the falling snow. I asked for a place along the way to sit in the shelter of the pines (it had gotten windy with the snowstorm) and I came across such a spot- (though someone else had taken refuge to eat a snack) which had a spirit gift (picture attached). We gave thanks for the swan for its gifts of feathers (we collected only those blowing away in the winds) and the food for the hungry one – and did a releasing snowshoe circle around the space. As we turned back and followed moose and elk trails along the treeline, a great bird flew over us (Osprey I think)- circled as we stood watching and then floated silently away. I know all this is part of my journey so today will ponder the messages of the swan and osprey.
This is fabulous! I look forward to seeing more of your inspirations and photographs.
